Student Use of Computers

Students tend to use computers more and more nowadays. Reading this chart, we can find that the average number of hours a student spends on the computer per week has increased sharply. In 1990, it has less than 2 hours; and in 1995, it increased to almost 4 hours, and in 2000, the number soared to 20 hours.
学生们倾向于使用计算机越来越多的今天。读这张图，我们可以发现，学生在电脑上的每星期花费的平均时间已急剧增加。1990，它有不到2个小时；和1995，它增加到几乎4个小时，并在2000，数量猛增到20个小时。
Obviously computers are becoming more and more popular. There are several reasons for this. First, computers facilitate us in more aspects of life. Also, the fast developments of the Internet enlarges our demands for using computers. We can easily contact with friends in remote places through the Internet. Besides, the prices of computers are getting lower and lower, which enables more students to purchase them.
显然电脑变得越来越流行了。这有几个原因。首先，电脑使我们在生活方面更方便。此外，互联网的快速发展扩大了我们使用计算机的需求。我们可以很容易地通过互联网与远程的地方的朋友联系。此外，电脑的价格越来越低，让更多的学生购买他们的电脑。
However, there still exist some problems, such as, poor quality, out of date designs and so on. And how to balance the time between using computers and studying is also a serious problem. Anyhow, we will benefit a lot from computers as long as we use them properly.
但是，目前还存在着一些问题，如质量差，日期设计等问题。如何平衡使用计算机和学习的时间也是一个严重的问题。不管怎样，只要我们正确地使用电脑，我们都会受益很多。
